Vamsi's followers attack YSRCP activists at Vijayawada

Fearing a defeat in the general elections, the activists of Telugu Desam Party are attacking those in YSR Congress Party at several places in the state.

One such incident has taken place at Kotta Mallavalli village in Bapulapadu mandal in Krishna district on Tuesday. The TDP men attacked the activists of YSR Congress Party when the latter were returning after attending a public meeting of party president Y.S.Jagan Mohan Reddy.

As per the sources, the TDP men attacked them on the directions of TDP leader Vamsi only. With the attack, the activists of YSR Congress Party had to retaliate in self defence. The reports suggested that clashes took place in full swing between the two sides at the area. Six YSR Congress Party activists were seriously injured in the incident.

TDP activists attacked on some houses in the same village and a tense situation prevailed in the area.
