Traffic Restrictions For Saddula Bathukamma Today

Hyderabad: On the occasion of 'Saddula Bathukamma' or 'Pedha Bathukamma' at Tank Bund and LB stadium on Thursday, the city police imposed traffic restrictions over the areas. Saddula Bathukamma, which brings the nine-day festival to an end, is celebrated in a grand manner at Upper Tank Bund.

In the view to avoid Traffic Jam, the vehicles moving towards the upper tank bund have been restricted by the police between 4pm to 11.30pm. The city police commissioner M. Mahender Reddy on Wednesday directed the police officials to maintain smooth traffic flow at the area.

Accordingly, the traffic coming from Secunderabad to Upper Tank will be diverted at Karbala Maidan–Bible House towards Kawadiguda and Lower Tank Bund. Meanwhile, the vehicles from Kattamaisamma and Kawadiguda towards the children park on Upper Tank Bund will be diverted at DBR Mills towards Kawadiguda.

Similarly, traffic coming from Iqbal Minor towards Upper Tank Bund will be diverted at Old Gate Secretariat on to Telugu Talli flyover towards Kattamaisamma. Traffic towards BJR statue will be diverted at AR petrol pump junction towards Nampally or Ravindra Bharathi.
