Waiter Commits Suicide In Abids Hotel

Hyderabad: A waiter working in a prominent hotel at Abids here committed suicide by jumping off the second floor of the hotel in the wee hours of Friday morning.

The deceased Mothi (30), hailing from Nepal, was working as a waiter at the Taj Mahal hotel and joined there two months back. Police said that he must have taken the exteme step due to financial constraints and also family problems.

A leading daily reports that Mothi was inebriated when he committed suicide and was dead on spot due to severe head injuries.

His body was sent for autopsy to Osmania General Hospital.

A case has been registered.
