Hyderabad: Gun Fire In RTC Bus Leaves Passengers Panic-Stricken

Hyderabad: An unidentified person opened fire inside a TSRTC bus on Thursday. The 47 L bus was heading from Secunderabad to Manikonda.

The incident took place near Panjagutta when an argument broke out between a man, dressed in a safari outfit and the passengers in the bus. When the bus halted at the stop, the miscreant was asked to get down during the boarding time as the bus was packed and he was hanging onto the bus at the foot-board. This ensued into a heated exchange between the miscreant and the passengers.

Amidst this, the man took out a gun from his bag and fired the gun leaving the passengers in panic. The bullet broke out of the rooftop of the bus and the miscreant fled away from the spot. The bus driver also sped the vehicle from the stop immediately after the incident.

Upon learning about the incident, the police launched a search for the unidentified passenger and the bus. A case has also been registered in this regard and the police are investigating further.
