State Does Not Respect Dalits: YSRCP

Guntur: YSRCP SC cell convenor Meruga Nagarjuna on Tuesday alleged that ' State does not respect Dalits. He was referring to the insult meted out to the Dalit MLA Isaiah by Chandrababu Naidu at the Janmabhoomi program in Kurnool.

How could the chief minister behave in such a manner with a constitutionally elected member, he questioned.

Nagarjuna also severely criticised minister Ravela Kishore for threatening to destroy the leader of the Opposition. Statements such as these indicate that plots are being made to hurt YS Jaganmohan Reddy, he said.

Moreover SC cell convenor Nagarjuna demanded that Minister Ravela should immediately apologize for his threats on YS Jagan, otherwise people will not allow him to move freely anywhere in the state.
