Seven Year Itch: Husband Catches Wife’s Paramour In Nightie

Pune: In a bizarre incident, a person, who had an extra-marital relation with his friends wife, entered her home in a nightie and tried to put chloroform to knock off his sleeping friend. But, the smell of the dirty rag woke the husband up and brought an end to his amorous affair.

The incident occurred in Pune. Rajesh Ghisulal Mehta (44) had an extra-marital relation with his friend's wife. He regularly used to enter the house when his friend was asleep and apply chloroform to knock him off. Then he would have sex with his paramour and conveniently leave. This went on for the last seven years without being identified.

However, his friend was tipped off by the guards and warned Mehta to back off. But, Mehta continued his visits wearing woman's attire. On Sunday, he tried to the same and tried to put a chloroform-soaked rag on his nose. But, the stench of the rag woke up his friend, who caught hold of him and handed him over to the police. The police booked a case against Mehta under Sections 452, 323, 504 and 506 of the IPC.
