PM Threatened TDP MPs in Parliament: Chandrababu

AP CM Chandrababu Naidu - Sakshi Post

Anantapur: In a sensational statement, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of threatening TDP MPs in Parliament. Speaking at a function here today, the AP CM claimed that the reason for BJP's defeat in Karnataka was because of his call to oppose that party.

Chandrababu said that he was a senior politician in the country and that he had become CM much before Modi. He pointed out that it was Modi who had taken a u-turn on Special Category Status to AP and added that he had not fallen into YSR Congress Party's trap.

The AP CM said if Central government doesn't establish the steel plant in Kadapa, the state government will do it. After state bifurcation, all the income was going to Hyderabad. He questioned what had happened to Modi's anti-corruption drive. Chandrababu blamed PM for ATMs going dry without money.

He further said that since he didn't want unnecessary rift between Central and state government, he avoided confrontation. It was unfortunate that today Modi was criticising him, he added.
