TDP Creating A Rift Between Telangana, AP: GVL

BJP spokesperson GVL Narasimha Rao - Sakshi Post

New Delhi: BJP official spokesperson GVL Narasimha Rao took a dig at the TDP for not being able to garner the support of its neighbouring, Telangana state to move the no-trust vote in Parliament. He also accused the TDP of attempting to create a rift between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. He said Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu held the dubious distinction of making a u-turns on all the issues. The AP CM was not firm on his stance over the Special Category Status (SCS), he said.

GVL said that Chandrababu had placed the no-confidence motion against the NDA government in Lok Sabha to gain political mileage. The TDP chief's efforts to divert people from main issues would not yield any results for him, he said. Since Chandrababu had lost the trust of people, nobody was willing to take the words of TDP seriously, he observed.

The BJP spokesperson recalled the days when Chandrababu had chosen Special Package over SCS and praised Special Package in the assembly as well as at Mahanadu programme. But the AP CM has now taken a u turn on the issue, he said. He also demanded an explanation from the TDP over the 600 promises made by the party in its manifesto.

He further said that trust played a key role in politics. Congress President Rahul Gandhi behaved like an immature kid in the Parliament, he said. Rahul failed to speak anything about AP in his speech, he added. "Rahul Gandhi has once again proved that he is incapable," he concluded.
