Andhra Pradesh Shock: Thief Caught on CCTV Stealing Patients’ Phones

A shocking incident from Araku Valley Hospital in Alluri Sitharama Raju district has sparked major security concerns after a man was caught on CCTV footage stealing mobile phones from sleeping patients in the middle of the night.

According to reports, the theft took place around midnight, when a stranger entered the hospital ward and quietly removed the mobile phones placed beside patients who were fast asleep. The act was captured on the hospital’s surveillance cameras, revealing a man dressed in a black hoodie and white pants, moving stealthily between the beds.

The footage, which has now gone viral on social media, clearly shows the suspect’s face, and authorities believe this will be crucial in tracking him down. Hospital staff discovered the theft early in the morning when several patients complained about their missing phones.

Efforts are underway to identify and apprehend the culprit using the CCTV visuals. This incident has also brought to light the lack of proper night-time security at the hospital, prompting calls for tighter surveillance and better staff monitoring during late hours.
