Telangana Likely To Witness Heavy Rainfall Today, Tomorrow

More rain is predicted across the Telangana state today and is expected to continue till Monday. Krishna of Narayanpet and Devarakonda of Nalgonda district received 122.5 mm and 72.8 mm of rainfall. Here is the tweet from Hyderabad Rains Twitter handle.

On August 27, rains lashed various parts of Mahabubnagar, Nagarkurnool, Nalgonda, and Rangareddy districts. Some areas in South Telangana are also going to experience intense thunderstorms in the next two to three days.

In the past few days, we have seen Telangana witnessing high amounts of rainfall. The officials of various departments have helped the people and necessary precautionary measures have been taken. The officials have been constantly monitoring the water levels in various tanks and reservoirs of the state. 

Under the influence of the North-South trough, widespread thunderstorms are expected to continue over interior Tamil Nadu with few places likely to see heavy spells of rain. Chennai and its suburbs may once again see a sudden burst of scattered rains during the evening hours.
