Telangana: KCR Lays Foundation Stone For TIMS In Sanathnagar

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao laid the foundation stone for three TIMS hospitals today. Three Telangana Institute of Medical Sciences Superspeciality Hospitals are going to be constructed in LB Nagar, Sanath Nagar, and Kothapet.

Today, in the morning, he laid the foundation stone for the construction of a hospital in LB Nagar. Here is the tweet from Telangana CMO.

Later, he also laid a foundation stone for the construction of TIMS in Sanathnagar.

 The government had sanctioned Rs. 2,679 crore for construction of the three TIMS branches on April 21.

The facilities at Sanathnagar and LB Nagar will have ground plus 14 floors whereas the hospital in Alwal will have ground plus five floors. According to the reports, the patient care services will be on the lower floors of the hospitals whereas the top floors will be used for academic and administrative purposes.

There will be a bed strength of 1,000. All specialty and super-specialty services would be provided at the hospitals. Nursing and para-medical courses would be offered. 

The block area of these three hospitals will be 10,53,800 square feet. The allied blocks will be 3,17,420 square feet. A total of Rs. 900 crore was sanctioned for the construction of the LB Nagar hospital and Rs 882 crore the one at Sanathnagar and Rs 897 crore for the Alwal hospital.
