Watch Video: Revanth Reddy Takes Oath As Telangana's 2nd Chief Minister

Hyderabad: Chief Minister-designate Anumula Revanth Reddy, the MLA of Kodangal and the Congress Legislature Party (CLP) leader, took oath as the second CM of Telangana at a grand ceremony held in LB Stadium. Telangana State Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan administered the oath of office to the Chief Minister. The other ministers in Revanth Reddy's cabinet include Seethakka, Uttam Kumar Reddy, Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy, Tummala Nageswara Rao, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, Damodara Rajanarsimha, Konda Surekha, Jupally Krishna Rao, Sridhar Babu. The eleven ministers are going to take oath along with the CM-designate Revanth Reddy.

The event was attended by Congress heavyweights including Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi, Mallikarjun Kharge, KC Venugopal and the newly elected 64 MLAs of the Congress. According to reports, Revanth is going to sign the first file of six guarantees which was promised in the Congress election manifesto and widely promoted during the election campaign.

Earlier, Revanth arrived in Hyderabad from Delhi on a special chartered flight. He has met the state Chief Secretary and DGP and held discussions related to the arrangements of the swearing-in ceremony.
