Jayam Ravi Cries at Press Meet, Refuses to Act Till Divorce with Aarti

Jayam Ravi Mohan Breaks Down, Says He Won’t Act Until Divorce From Aarti Ravi Is Finalised
Tamil actor Jayam Ravi Mohan made an emotional public appearance in Chennai on Saturday, a day after singer and spiritual healer Keneeshaa Francis hinted at a breakup through a cryptic social media post. Addressing the media amid mounting speculation surrounding his personal life, the actor broke down several times and announced that he would not continue acting until his divorce from estranged wife Aarti Ravi is legally finalised.
“Enough Is Enough”: Ravi Mohan Speaks Out
Visibly emotional during the interaction, Ravi Mohan said he had endured “unnecessary humiliation” for years and could no longer remain silent.
“Enough is enough. I refrained from opening up all these days. Now, the time has come. People think Ravi Mohan, aka Jayam Ravi, is a soft person. I have been that way, but not anymore,” he stated.
Quoting the Tamil proverb “saadhu miranda kaadu kolladhu,” which roughly translates to “one should fear the anger of a calm person,” Ravi said people had been continuously testing his patience.
The actor further declared that he would stay away from cinema until his personal life stabilises.
“Until my divorce comes through, I will not act. Whenever I get my divorce, my life will be normal again. Whenever this cyberbullying stops, I will return,” he said tearfully.
Opens Up About Keneeshaa Francis
Speaking about Keneeshaa Francis, Ravi hinted that public scrutiny and online trolling had affected their relationship deeply.
“You have sent Keneeshaa away... I wish her a good life,” he remarked, without elaborating further.
His comments come amid intense online discussions surrounding the actor’s alleged relationship with Keneeshaa after reports of his separation from Aarti Ravi surfaced.

Slams “Cyberbullying” and Targets Critics
Without naming individuals directly, Ravi Mohan lashed out at what he called “cyberbullying pricks” and claimed he possessed evidence against those targeting him online.
He also took an indirect swipe at a “three-letter-named” female actor, accusing her of hypocrisy over feminist views.
“The idle actor has no business preaching feminism. After wrecking families, what business does she have talking about feminism in public forums?” he alleged.
“I Am Paying the Price”: Ravi on Marriage and Family Struggles
The actor also made emotional claims about not being allowed to meet his sons, Aarav and Ayaan. According to Ravi, the children are being accompanied to school by bodyguards.
Reflecting on his marriage, he said, “I entered into marriage against my parents’ will. I am paying the price now for doing that.”
In a shocking revelation, Ravi claimed that he had once slit his wrists but still reported to work the next day due to professional commitment.
“In fact, I slit my wrists and still showed up at the shoot the next day. That has been my commitment to work,” he said.
Ravi Mohan’s emotional press conference has now intensified public attention on the ongoing personal turmoil surrounding the actor, with fans and the Tamil film industry closely watching the developments.
