Actor Naveen Polishetty has assured audiences that his most-awaited film Anaganaga Oka Raju will be a perfect festive entertainer this Sankranti and urged moviegoers to watch it in theatres on January 14.

Billed as a wholesome festival film, Anaganaga Oka Raju is produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under the banners of Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas, and presented by Srikara Studios. The film is directed by debutant Mari and stars Meenakshi Chaudhary as the female lead. Music is composed by Mickey J Meyer.

The film, which has been drawing attention with its innovative promotional material, is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on January 14, 2026, coinciding with Sankranti. The recently released trailer has further raised expectations among audiences.

Ahead of the release, the makers organised a grand pre-release event on Monday evening at Kakatiya Government College in Hanumakonda. The event witnessed an enthusiastic turnout of youth and was attended by several film and political personalities.

A highlight of the event was the launch of the film’s third song, Andhra to Telangana. The song was unveiled by the team at the pre-release function. Earlier songs Bhimavaram Balma and Raju Gari Pelliro had already struck a chord with listeners. The newly released track, with lyrics by Chandrabose and energetic vocals by Sameera Bharadwaj and Dhanunjay Seepana, received a strong response for its lively composition and catchy lines.

Speaking at the event, Naveen Polishetty said he shares a special bond with the Warangal region, recalling that the pre-release event of Jathi Ratnalu was also held there. He thanked audiences for turning films like Agent Sai Srinivasa Athreya into big successes through strong word-of-mouth support, even when the film initially had limited shows.

“My audience has always been my biggest strength and my biggest marketing force,” Naveen said. “The love and success you have given me have filled me with energy. With Anaganaga Oka Raju, we wanted to give you entertainment that is double that energy.”

He revealed that the team had screened the film multiple times, including special shows for people not associated with the project. “Everyone laughed throughout the film and got emotional in several scenes. Many even stood up and applauded at the end. That response gave us immense confidence,” he added.

Calling the film a result of a two-year journey, Naveen expressed confidence that audiences would enjoy it even more during the festive season. “Watch this film with your family and friends. It has the energy, entertainment, and emotional drama you expect from my films,” he said.

Concluding his speech, Naveen invited audiences to book their tickets and come to theatres on January 14. “I may not come from a film family, but I have the support of countless families as my strength. I will continue to entertain you all till my last breath,” he said.
