SBI Clerk Mains 2025 Exam on November 21: Syllabus, Pattern, and Selection Process
The State Bank of India (SBI) has announced the tentative date for the SBI Clerk Mains Examination 2025. As per the official update, the Mains exam is expected to be conducted on November 21, 2025. Candidates who successfully cleared the preliminary stage can now gear up for the next phase of the recruitment process.

SBI Clerk Mains 2025: Exam Structure and Pattern
The SBI Clerk Mains exam will carry a total of 200 marks and will consist of 190 questions, to be completed in 2 hours and 40 minutes. The test will include four major sections:
- General/Financial Awareness
- Quantitative Aptitude
- Reasoning Ability and Computer Aptitude
- English Language
Each section will have a specific time duration, and candidates will not be allowed to switch between sections while writing the exam.
The question paper will be available in both English and Hindi, except for the English language section.

- A penalty of 0.25 marks will be applied for every incorrect answer.
- There is no sectional cutoff in the Mains exam.
- The normalisation method will be used to balance scores across different shifts.
- The final selection will be based solely on candidates’ performance in the Mains examination — there will be no interview round.
Prelims Exam Summary
The SBI Clerk Prelims 2025 was conducted on September 20, 21, and 27, 2025. The preliminary exam featured 100 multiple-choice questions covering English Language, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning Ability. The total duration of the paper was 60 minutes.
The Prelims results were declared on November 4, 2025, allowing qualified candidates to move forward to the Mains stage.
