Rajasthan REET Mains 2025: Apply Online for 7,759 Teaching Vacancies

The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) has announced the official notification for the Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers (REET) Mains 2025, inviting applications for 7,759 primary and upper primary teaching positions across the state. The notification is now available on the official websites, rssb.rajasthan.gov.in and sso.rajasthan.gov.in.

The application process, which began on November 7, 2025, will continue until December 6, 2025. Eligible candidates are encouraged to apply online for the REET Mains 2025 exam, scheduled to be held between January 17 and 21, 2026.

Vacancies and Level Details

The RSSB has announced a total of 7,759 vacancies, with 5,636 posts for REET Level 1 (Primary School Teachers for Classes 1-5) and 2,123 positions for REET Level 2 (Upper Primary School Teachers for Classes 6-8). Candidates who qualify for REET 2025 will be eligible to apply for the Rajasthan third-grade teacher recruitment 2025, which will be conducted in two stages: a written examination followed by document verification.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for REET Mains 2025, candidates must have a graduation, post-graduation, or BEd degree with 50 percent marks. Applicants with 45 percent in graduation and a one-year BEd course (as per NCTE norms) are also eligible to apply. Additionally, those who have scored 50 percent in senior secondary education and completed a four-year BElEd, BA BScEd, or BA Ed degree can apply for the exam.
