HYDERABAD: TS EAMCET Exam 2022 for agriculture and medicine streams has been postponed. According to the timetable, the exam was supposed to be conducted on July 14 and 15, 2022. But due to heavy rains in the Telangana state, the exam was postponed.  However, the TS EAMCET-2022 for the engineering stream would be conducted as per the schedule i.e., from July 18 to 20.

In view of rains across Telangana, the state government had declared holidays for all educational institutions from Monday to Wednesday.

The Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture & Medical (Pharmacy, Veterinary etc.,) Common Entrance Test-2022 (TS EAMCET-2022) is being conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad on behalf of Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE). This examination is the entrance test for admission into various professional courses offered in University/ Private Colleges in the state of Telangana for the academic year 2022-2023.

The rescheduled dates would be intimated later which will also be put up in the website, the TSCHE said in a press release.

Around 171,945 students have registered for engineering, 94,150 for agriculture and medical, 350 applied for both, and a total of 2,66,445 applications have been received this year, said Professor Goverdhan, convenor of TS EAMCET. Officials revealed that 14,722 more applications have been received this time compared to last year.
