Pawan Kalyan and his assembly seat saga

 - Sakshi Post

The voters of Andhra Pradesh are aware of the assembly constituencies their leaders like chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu, Nara Lokesh will contest the elections from. However, there is no clarity on the assembly seats of Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan and his brother Nagababu yet.

In 2019, Pawan Kalyan contested the elections from Gajuwaka and Bhimavaram assembly constituencies but lost it. Now the buzz in the political circles is he may contest in a Lok Sabha constituency along with an assembly segment in the upcoming polls.

In previous elections, Chandrababu Naidu played his cards well in the last elections as a result Pawan Kalyan faced defeat in both the seats. This time Jana Sena leader is trying to be cautious while choosing the assembly seat for him. He conducted a survey in Gajuwaka but backed out after the results showed that he was not a popular choice among the voters.

Similarly, he conducted surveys in other assembly seats like Kakinada and Bhimavaram. He was disappointed with the survey results here too. He then moved to Pithapuram Assembly constituency and the survey results highlighted that YSRCP’s Vanga Geetha is holding the fort here. With time and patience running out, Pawan Kalyan is once again looking out for a new assembly seat.
