Naidu Makes All Moves To Corner CM Jagan Politically! Any Use?

 - Sakshi Post

Election Commission of India’s analysis of electoral bonds data, which has been uploaded on its official website, highlighted that Hyderabad-headquartered Rithwik Projects Private Limited was awarded a letter of contract on January 14, 2023. The infrastructure company first purchased electoral bonds worth Rs 5 crore on January 27, 2023 for the Sunni hydroelectric power project in Congress-ruled Himachal Pradesh.

Granular details of the electoral bonds bought by companies across the country shows that Rithwik Projects Private Limited had bought electoral bonds of TDP worth Rs 5 crore. Even as the electoral bonds saga unfolds, reports have emerged that the TDP chief Chandrbabau Naidu had extended financial support to Congress party during Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka, and Telangana elections.

As part of his elaborate strategy, Naidu reached out to the Congress and ensured the successful merger of Sharmila’s YSR Telangana party into Congress. He was successful in his plans. Subsequently, Naidu impressed upon the Telangana Congress leadership to appoint her as the Andhra Pradesh state unit president. This has virtually made Andhra Pradesh Congress unit an extension of TDP in the state.

Naidu did his best to pit Sharmila against chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in the elections. Even the opposition parties Congress, BJP and Jana Sena found it expedient to agree to his plan through overt alliance or outside support and formed a united front against the ruling YSRCP in the ensuing elections. As the chief minister YS Jagan has said, while only parties and leaders were with TDP chief, the YSRCP had the support of the people. The chief minister has reiterated that “we are siddham” for the elections and soon he’ll embark on a 21-day bus yatra in the state.
