CM YS Jagan Inaugurates Machilipatnam Port

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy today kicked off the construction works of the Machilipatnam Port today. It was a long dream for the local people.

The aspirations of the people have been fulfilled by the YCP chief. The Chief Minister, post laying the foundation stone, performed Bhoomi Puja in Tapasipudi and unveiled a pylon.

People gathered in large numbers to see him at the time of the high-profile inauguration. The CM is going to address a public meeting soon.

The cost of the project is Rs. 11,464 crore, of which Rs. 5,156 crore will be spent on the first phase. A Cargo Handling Capacity of 116 MMPTA has been marked.
