Former PM Deve Gowda and Telangana CM KCR - Sakshi Post

Hyderabad: The meeting between former Prime Minister and JDS chief Deve Gowda and Telangana chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao in Hyderabad gained prominence because of latter's efforts to form Federal Front at national level. Deve Gowda who arrived in the city on Saturday, met KCR at his residence on Sunday morning.

It is learnt that the two leaders spoke about the political situation at national level and also Federal Front. It is understood that KCR has sought the help of Deve Gowda in the formation of a new front. The meeting was attended by Panchayat Raj and IT minister KT Rama Rao, Hyderabad Mayor Rammohan, MP Santosh and other officials.

It has been reported earlier that KCR had visited Deve Gowda and his son HD Kumaraswamy, the chief minister of Karnataka in Bengaluru with an agenda to seek support in formation of Federal Front. It has also been widely reported that KCR met Kumaraswamy a day prior to his swearing-in ceremony because he was unhappy with JDS forging alliance with Congress to form government in Karnataka.
