Controversies Helping Pawan’s Agnyaathavaasi?

Pawan Kalyan - Sakshi Post

They say any publicity is good if you are looking for some attention. That explains why controversial queens like Rakhi Sawant, Poonam Pandey and RGV try to stay in the limelight because they are always drawing attention with their bold statements and avatars.

Pawan Kalyan's Agnyaathavaasi seems to have drawn world attention in the last few days. The very fact that it is directed by Trivikram Srinivas is reason enough for the film to stay in news. But the film has been grabbing the headlines for all kinds of reasons.

First, it was the plagiarism controversy. Did we tell you that there were reports that the film was a copy of French film Largo Winch?

After that Pawan's hardesh critic and for bigg boss contestant Mahesh Kathi fired salvos at the actor levelling all kinds of allegations against him. In fact it was he who said that the Telugu film was a copy.

Now, even Pawan's die-hard fan Ram Gopal Varma did not spare Agnyaathavaasi. He compared the film's trailer with that of Allu Sirish's Okka Kshanam saying he liked the video of the latter better than Agynaathavaasi.

While a commoner might think that this kind of bad publicity may not affect the film's fortunes at the box office, trade pundits feel this is only helping it do well. Did we tell you that the film has already made a small fortune from the ticket sales abroad overtaking even Hollywood films?
