The regular shoot of Rangasthalam 1985 starring Ram Charan and directed by Sukumar is progressing at a snail's pace. Earlier, the filmmakers had planned to release the film around Sankranthi but they pulled out of the race for Pawan Kalyan's Agnathavaasi.

Now the release of Charan's Rangasthalam 1985 has been pushed to March 2018 and the makers of the movie want to have a solo release without any clash with other movies.

If sources are to be believed, Sukumar is delaying the movie as he has plenty of time before release. According to latest reports, Ram Charan wanted Sukumar to wrap up the movie by the end of December and this has put enormous pressure on the director.

A couple of songs are yet to be shot and we wonder if it can all be wrapped up in a month's time.

On the other hand, Charan's wants to start his next film with Boyapati Srinu. He is also producing Chiranjeevi's magnum opus Sye Raa which will be directed by Surender Reddy.
