Chandrababu Converting Farm Lands Into Real Estate: Bhumana

Hyderabad: YSRCP General Secretary Bhumana Karunakar Reddy on Monday criticized the TDP government for illegal land acquisition in the name of projects and capital city. Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is acting like a mafia don in the State, said Reddy.

Speaking to the media here, Reddy further said: "Chandrababu Naidu is transforming the green fields in the State into a real estate platform. Naidu is resorting to 'pull land' away from farmers in the name of land-pooling. The TDP Government is acquiring lakhs of acres in the name of development. The way land is being taken from farmers is also against the provisions of the Land Acquisition Act. The government is fielding police and revenue officials to take over the assigned land from Dalits. So far not even a company came to the state nor a job was created," he said.

Reddy further slammed Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhara Rao as well. He slammed KCR for illegal land acquisition in the name of Mallannasagar project. "Subsequently, KCR's land acquisition was stayed by the High Court. KCR is a big brother of Chandrababu Naidu, who's worse than Narakasura and Mahishasura in puranas."

Finding fault with Chandrababu Naidu for not doing anything on the construction of capital city Amaravati, Bhumana said that not even brick is seen except the lone foundation stones lying at where the ground-breaking ceremony was performed. "Naidu spent Rs100 crore on just ground-breaking ceremony only. Naidu is again making false statements assuring the people of completing initial phase of capital city by Dassehra or Deepavali."
