AP Local Body Elections Postponed in View Of Coronavirus Threat

A P Local Body Elections Postponed By 6 Weeks In View Of Coronavirus Threat -SEC Ramesh Kumar.

Coronavirus has posed a threat to public health and keeping this mind the State Election Commissioner N. Ramesh Kumar has declared that the Andhra Pradesh Local Body Polls have been postopned by 6 weeks until further notice.

Speaking to media on Sunday the SEC said that since the Centre has declared a national emergency keeping in mind the WHO also declarating at Global panademic the state local body elections have been postponed.

All Posts elected unanimouslly will hold good.

This is only postponement and not a cancellation,
