Amaravati: With just a day left for voting in the state of Andhra Pradesh (AP), the ruling Telugu Desam Party (TDP) is leaving no stone unturned to try and ensure that the AP electorates cast their vote for the TDP tomorrow. TDP activists are trying to woo voters across the state with money, saris, Liquor, Fridges, ACs and Cricket kits and in some cases gold and silver as well. They are also pressurising the police machinery to turn a blind eye and not to obstruct their activities. In some places a few police officials who belonged to the same community as Chandrababu Naidu were personally supervising the transport and distribution of money used for luring voters. This has led to serious resentment among the democrats at the way police are functioning at the behest of the ruling party.

Mangalagiri: In the capital city region, TDP candidate Nara Lokesh who faces a bleak chance of winning has resorted to distributing money at a large scale. TDP activists are openly distributing cash ranging from Rs 1,000 to Rs 5,000 to the voters. They are also giving out slips with specific code numbers which the voters can use for collecting Fridges, ACs and other home appliances from specific electronic shops in Vijayawada. It is said that the cash distribution in Mangalagiri is the highest in the state because the TDP is at risk of losing the seat to the local YSRCP candidate A Ramakrishna Reddy, who would be riding the success wave for the second time.

Guntur: The Devineni family aides were caught in many constituencies of Guntur district while trying to distribute money to the voters. There are allegations that the TDP activists were let off due to influence used by the family. In Krishna district, candidates were distributing Rs 500 to Rs 2,000. Gudiwada TDP candidate Devineni Avinash is reportedly distributing Rs 3,000 to Rs 5,000 in cash. Mylavaram TDP candidate Minister Devineni Uma Maheshwara Rao is busy disbursing cash and gift items in phased and planned manner across streets, wards and even apartments.

Godavari Region: The Jana Sena Party who is contesting for the first time in the state are not lagging behind in this aspect either. JSP activists are desperately trying to woo voters to ensure Pawan Kalyan's win in Bhimavaram. They have started distributing Rs 1,000 to the public there. In East Godavari money ranging from Rs 1,000 to Rs 2,500 was distributed constituency wise.

Nellore: School staffs belonging to Narayana group of Institutions owned by TDP minister P Narayana in Nellore, have been using the schools for stashing cash. They are distributing cash through school bags and have been caught by the election squad several times.

Anantapur: In Rapthadu constituency, TDP candidate Paritala Sriram's followers are not only distributing money but also threatening the villagers, that if they didn't cast their vote for Sriram they would face dire consequences. The rate for votes is ranging from Rs 2,000 to Rs 5,000 in Rapthadu, Tadipathri and Dharmavaram in this district.
