AP Assembly Elections 2019: TDP Candidates List For Lok Sabha Polls
Amaravati: Telugu Desam Party (TDP) National President N Chandrababu Naidu has finalised candidates for 18 Lok Sabha seats in Andhra Pradesh and the names for the other seven constituencies will be announced shortly.
Out of 15 sitting MPs, Chandrababu has re-nominated only 8 sitting MPs. Kakinada MP Thota Narasimham, Ananthapur MP JC Diwakar Reddy and Rajahmundry MP M Murali Mohan voluntarily pulled out of the race while Amalapuram MP P Ravindra Babu and Anakapalli MP M Srinivasa Rao defected to YSR Congress Party.
Decision regarding Narasaraopet sitting MP Rayapati Sambasiva Rao and Bapatla MP Sriram Malyadri is set to be taken in the coming days with the latter reportedly in contention to contest from Tadikonda assembly segment. Others in contention include former Lok Sabha speaker GMC Balayogi’s son Hareesh Mathur for Amalapuram Lok Sabha constituency, sitting MP JC Diwakar Reddy’s son Pawan Kumar Reddy from Ananthapuram constituency.
The TDP Chief is expected to release the first list of candidates on Wednesday.

Amalapuram - G Hareesh Mathur
Vijayawada - Kesineni Nani
Eluru - Maganti Venkateswara Rao (Babu)
Machilipatnam - Konakalla Narayana
Ananthapuram - JC Pawan Kumar Reddy
Bapatla - Sriram Malyadri/Dokka Manikyavaraprasad
Ongole - MM Kondaiah
Kurnool - Kotla Jayasuryaprakash Reddy
Hindupur - Nimmala Kistappa
Kadapa - Adinarayana Reddy
The constituencies for which the names are yet to be finalized are Rajahmundry, Narsapuram, Narasaraopet, Nellore, Nandyal, Rajampet and Tirupati.
