Fake Surveys Favouring TDP In Vizianagaram

Vizianagaram: Another incident of fake surveys being conducted in favour of the state government came to light in Vizianagaram. In Pusapatirega mandal Kumili, Rellivalasa in Vizianagaram ,three youngsters were found conducting pre-poll surveys and the interesting thing was that they were making a note of the details of those families who were giving answers against the state government.

The details of respondents not in favour of the TDP were being collected by the youth who were roaming the areas with Tabs, along with the voters' list of the area. Local YSRCP leaders caught hold of them and handed them over to the police and also demanded that stringent action should be taken against them as this was illegal.

Opposition leaders say that there were also phone surveys being a conducted asking person about the state governance, their schemes and other opinions which was becoming quite frequent. Police caught the youth and confiscated the Tabs, meanwhile the local YSRCP leaders are in the process of taking up this matter with the Election Commission and also report the same to the higher officials in the police department.
