YSRCP MLAs suspended from AP Assembly for a day - Sakshi Post

Hyderabad: Invoking Rule 329 of the AP legislative assembly rules and procedures, Speaker Kodela Sivaprasad suspended 37 YSRCP MLAs, except Leader of Opposition YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, till the end of the day's proceedings on Wednesday.

The YSRCP MLAs insisted on a CBI probe into the AP Capital Area land scam, which was flatly rejected by Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. When the YSRCP MLAs raised slogans demanding CBI probe, legislative affairs minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu moved a resolution under Rule No 329, which was adopted by voice vote.

Interestingly, YSRCP MLAs Rachamallu Sivaprasad and Anil Yadav, who were not present in the house on Wednesday, were suspended.
Earlier, YS Jagan made a scathing attack on the ruling TDP and demanded a probe into the land scam. The ruling party MLAs, led by Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, interrupted his speech at regular intervals.
