Hyderabad: An Italian thanked Hyderabad traffic policeman, Raju, for helping his father who was in Hyderabad, as part of his world tour on bicycle. The cyclist's son wrote a letter to the city traffic police thanking in particular, a duty cop at Koti for helping his father.

Dr Armando Basile, an Italy based cyclist, reached Koti Women’s College, Hyderabad, and was clueless, as to which road would lead to Kurnool from there. Then he went up to the policeman on duty there, Raju. The cyclist also requested Raju to mail his son about his successful visit to Hyderabad. “Dr Armando Basile was on a world tour on his cycle from Germany. When he reached Koti Women’s College, I was regulating traffic at Koti. He stopped to ask for details of the route to Kurnool. After I shared the road map, he asked me to email his son Dirk Basile, saying that he was safe. I did as told and informed his son who, reciprocated by thanking me,” said the cop. The thank you email received by Raju read, “Thank you, police officers of Hyderabad for helping my father Armando Basile to find the right way out of the town on his 7th trip on bike around the world....
