I Washed Dishes In The US Like All Indians: KTR To Uttam

Uttam Kumar Reddy and KTR  - Sakshi Post

By Reshmi AR

Telangana IT and Panchayat Raj Minister in the caretaker government K Taraka Rama Rao (KTR) gave a stinging riposte to TPCC president Uttam Kumar Reddy. On Friday, Uttam had ridiculed KTR's political leadership terming him as a novice who may have washed dishes in the US before plunging into politics.

Responding to Uttam Kumar Reddy's criticism, KTR admitted that like all other Indians who go to the US, he too had washed dishes. In making this comment, KTR was also implying that he led a life of dignity. The Telangana minister also took potshots at Congress president Rahul Gandhi characterising him as pappu (nitwit). He said that unlike Rahul Gandhi, he earned a decent living and found a foothold for himself in politics.

KTR did not stop with that. In a damning reference to an incident which went viral during the 2014 elections when Uttam Kumar's car was reported to have been carrying cash worth Rs 2.5 crores which were burnt to ashes, KTR in a tongue-in-cheek comment said "Unlike you I did not loot people's money and burn it in my car." He substantiated his statement with a news clip on his Twitter handle. Have a look at KTR’s tweet...
