Scribes rally against Govt's bias - Sakshi Post


Journalists belonging to various media groups in Telangana today took out a rally from Sunderaiah Park to Indira Park in Hyderabad demanding that the State Government tender an apology for keeping a section of the media away from the recent Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's visit to the city.

Under the banner of telangana Journalists Forum, scribes from various media organsiations supported by leaders of the TJAC and the BJP marched through the streets of Hyderabad from Sunderaiah Park in Chikkadapally to Indira Park. Raising slogans against the State Government's bias towards a section of the media, they demanded an unconditional apology from the administration.

A section of the media belonging to Telangana region was denied access to the venue where Prime Minister Manmohan Singh addressed the recent CoP-11 global summit. Today's rally was addressed by TJAC chairman Kodandram and president of the State unit of the BJP Kishen Reddyat India Park.
