Revolt brewing? CM's Public Meet devoid of Sonia's banners
Chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy, it seems, is all set to launch his attack on Congress High Command over Telangana issue.
The CM will be inaugurating the Pulichintala project at the dam site in Achampeta mandal in Guntur district on Saturday, but interestingly among banners of the CM, conspicuous was the absence of banners of Congress Chief Sonia Gandhi and Congress Vice president Rahul Gandhi.
In anticipation of the CM's public meeting there, the site is well decorated with many banners featuring him. Interestingly, there was not a single banner or poster of Sonia Gandhi or Rahul Gandhi on the dais.
Hitherto, whenever the CM inaugurated any project he would make sure that dais was well decorated with banners of his party president Sonia Gandhi and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. The exclusion of these banners in the upcoming event had led to rumors that CM might attack Sonia Gandhi, on the latter's stand on Telangana. According to reports, he might announce his future course of action on state bifurcation.
Importantly, there are banners of late CM YS Rajasekhara Reddy and the venue of meeting was named after Jai Andhra movement leader Kakani Venkataratnam.
