Raksha Bandhan Celebrated By Sisters and Brothers With Love and Affection 

Hyderabad: Raksha bandhan, the festival of brothers and sisters, was on Thursday celebrated across both the Telugu states. Governor Narasimhan and first lady Vimala Narasimhan hosted a grand gala function on the of Raksha Bandhan at Raj Bhavan. School children tied rakhi to Governor Narasimhan. Brahmakumaris also tied rakhi to the Governor.

YS Sharmila, daughter of people’s leader YS Rajasekhara Reddy, tied Rakhi to her brother YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, YSRCP President, and wished him all the success.

Nizamabad MP Kavitha tied rakhi to Telangana minister for industries, IT and Municipal Administration KT Rama Rao. Kavitha wished brother Rama Rao all the success in his future endeavours. Brahmakumaris also tied rakhi to KTR. On the occasion, Brahmakumaris said KTR is a responsible brother of entire Telangana state and wished him success in every task.

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhara Rao’s family members participated in the Raksha bandhan celebrations. Raksha bandhan has once again highlighted a special bond of brother and sister in Indian tradition.

Union Minister for Textiles Smriti Irani went to Siachin to tie rakhi to the soldiers, who’re guarding the nation regardless of worse climatic conditions.
