Rajaiah changes stand on joining TRS - Sakshi Post

Warangal MP Sirisilla Rajaiah turned back on his decision to join TRS.

He told reporters in Warangal on Friday that he believed that the Congress party would announce Telangana state. Along with Minister Basvaraju Saraiah, Rajaiah arranged a press conference at DCC office and made clear his stand.

Rajaiah along with MPs Vivek and Manda Jagannadham had set a deadline to Congress high command that they would quit Congress if the party did not announce its stand on Telangana before May 30. While Vivek and Jagannadham announced to join TRS along with K Kesava Rao, Rajaiah hold back his earlier decision and announced to stay with Congress.

TRS had trapped three MPs promising LS seats of their choice along with one MLA seat to their kith and kin. KCR had expressed his inability to give Rajaiah Warangal LS seat in the next elections as he already offered to Kadiyam Srihari, who joined TRS recently from TDP.  Instead, KCR is understood to have offered two assembly seats. But he has reportedly opted Manukonduru and another segment which TRS could not make a promise, sources said.
