'Naatu Naatu' has been the biggest song of the year. The song's online footprint has escalated by 1105 percent worldwide following the recent Oscar win at the 95th Academy Awards.

According to Japanese online casino guide 6 Takarakuji based on an inspection of Google search data, it has been observed that people took more interest in the song after it won the Oscar.

The craze for the song remains unbeaten. Instagram reels and TikToks were trending with this song right after its release in March 2022 with 52.6 million views on the latter alone. The song, composed by MM Keeravani, was loved by American popular singers Lady Gaga and Rihanna as well. The song's international popularity is a huge tribute to the south Indian film industry.

A live performance of the song by the singers Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava at the recent Oscars event received a standing ovation from the crowd who loved the performance of both singers. The singers were filled with joy after meeting Rihanna at the ceremony, while choreographer Prem Rakshith was also seen with them.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated music director Keeravani and lyricist Chandra Bose on the Oscar win.
