KTR Absent from Assembly, Seeks New Oath-Taking Date
Former IT and Municipal Administration minister and BRS working president KT Ramarao was absent today on the first day of the first session of the third Legislative Assembly of Telangana. He was absent as he needed to be with his father and BRS legislature party leader KCR. KTR was also absent for the BRS legislative party meeting.
KTR sought a different date for the oath-taking ceremony. Taking to X (formerly Twitter), he wrote, "Unfortunately I couldn’t attend the BRS Legislature meeting today and the swearing in at the Legislative Assembly because of my father’s medical condition. Have sought another date from the Assembly Secretary for taking the oath along with 4-5 other MLAs who have also not been able to attend today."
