Mallikarjuna Gandhi, a  person who was absconding in the fake certificate case was arrested by the Saroornagar Police on Wednesday.
As per reports the accused had secured a job in an MNC at Gachibowli by getting a fake degree Himalayan University certificate.

According to police, Mallikarjuna, who did not even have a degree, approached one P Srinivas, director of Sri Vaibhav Academy education consultancy, in Saroornagar and purchased a fake degree certificate from Himalayan University in Itanagar by paying 75,000 rupees.

Police already arrested P. Srinivas and another person named KV Mallikarjuna Rao in June. Rao also got a fake degree certificate for his daughter from Srinivas by paying 90,000 rupees, reports say.
