Mrs. Chatterjee vs. Norway Released on OTT Platform

Mrs. Chatterjee vs. Norway is a courtroom drama film written and directed by Ashima Chibber. The cast includes Jim Sarbh, Neena Gupta, Anirban Bhattacharya, and Rani Mukerji. The movie was based on the actual story of an Indian couple whose children were kidnapped by Norwegian police in 2011. 

The movie was released in theatres on March 17, 2023. Following its theatrical premiere, Mrs. Chatterjee vs. Norway is now accessible on Netflix.Netflix India announced its OTT debut with a movie poster that read, "A fearless mother, her unwavering love for her children, and a relentless fight."

The film is about Debika, her husband Aniruddha, and their two kids, Shubha, and Shuchi. They live in Stavanger. Two members of the Norwegian Child Welfare Services removed Shubha and Shuchi from their house during one of their routine inspections. Debika sues the government after being informed that the Chatterjees are unable to care for their children in an effort to reclaim custody.

According to a statement from the Norwegian Embassy in India, the movie Mrs. Chatterjee vs. Norway has received a lot of attention and was released ahead of time. The movie is a work of fiction even if it is based on a factual story.
