Gurugram and Ghaziabad Schools Switch to Hybrid Mode for Classes 1–5

Schools in both Gurugram and Ghaziabad have decided to move to a hybrid learning system for students up to Class 5 as air pollution levels continue to worsen in Delhi and surrounding areas. The step has been taken to ensure that young children are not exposed to unhealthy air conditions.

In Ghaziabad, the district administration has instructed all schools to conduct classes for students from nursery to Class 5 in hybrid mode. Authorities have emphasized that the directive must be followed strictly to safeguard the health of students.

Similarly, schools in Gurugram have also been asked to shift to hybrid learning. The decision was made considering the rising pollution levels and the possible health risks for younger children. According to an official update shared by the Deputy Commissioner of Gurugram, the order aligns with the guidelines issued by the Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) under Stage III restrictions.

Under this decision, in-person classes for students from nursery to Class 5 in Gurugram will remain suspended until further notice. Schools will continue teaching through a combination of online and offline methods to ensure learning is not disrupted.
