Poor Turnout For Nava Nirmana Deeksha
Kurnool: The "Nava Nirmana Deeksha" meetings organized across the state by the Andhra Pradesh government were confined to ostentatious arrangements and grand decorations. If the government had hoped for people's participation, it was clear that no one was willing to buy the ruling party line. As a result, the Telugu Desam Party leaders were confined to long monologues.
Deputy Chief Minister attended the Nava Nirmana Deeksha in the district, which turned out to be a farce owing to a poor turnout. Similar situations arose across the meetings in various parts of the state.
