Man Held For Trying To Record Woman’s Bathing

Hyderabad: Venkatesh, a 23-year-old, was arrested by Osmania University police for trying to videograph a woman while she was bathing.

The incident took place in Manikeshwar Nagar. Police have booked case against him for voyeurism and outraging woman's modesty.

The accused tried to sneak into his neighbour’s house and hid his mobile near the ventilator from outside to record bathing of woman

Police said that the accused lived in a rented house and was preparing for competitive exams. He tried to sneak into his neighbour’s house and hid his mobile near the ventilator from outside to record bathing of woman.

However, the woman noticed the mobile and alerted her family members, police official said.

The accused hails from Tirumalgiri in Suryapet district and has been staying in Hyderabad from a year.
