Mahesh Babu doesn't like the taste of politics

Be it brand endorsements, movies or ribbon cutting, Prince Mahesh Babu continues to be in news. The last we heard was that the actor would not enter politics.

Although speculation was rife about him joining politics, fans wanted to hear it from the horse's mouth. And the actor seems to have heard them. Prince Mahesh Babu on Wednesday made it clear that he has no plans to enter politics. Mahesh was the chief guest at a programme organised by the Rainbow super specialty hospital for children at Eluru road in Vijayawada. He pledged his support for the cause of children.

Speaking on the occasion, he recalled his connection with Vijayawada. He talked about his special attachment with the place since the days of his first movie Rajakumarudu.

When reporters told him how the films were a bad influence on the youth, he was quick to point out that he never worked in such movies which would have an adverse effect.

Recently, there were rumours that Mahesh was eyeing the Hindi film industry. However, the actor brushed aside the news saying had no plans to go to any industry and that he will remain in Tollywood for the next ten years. "I have no plans to join politics. You want me to say something so that you can write something else?" he joked.

He expressed happiness over his Nenokkadina movie teaser breaking a record. Talking about his new look in the movie, he said Nenokkadina will create a milestone in cinematic history.
