Kannababu Confident YSRCP Will Romp Home In Kakinada

Kakinada: YSR Congress Party East Godavari district unit President K Kanna Babu exuded confidence that the YSRCP will emerge victorious in the Kakinada municipal corporation elections.

Speaking to the media after the polling, he alleged the ruling TDP has misused power and has distributed money to win the election.

Though the ruling party has lured the voters with money and liquor, Kanna Babu hoped that people are favourably inclined towards the YSR Congress in the election. The TDP has failed on all fronts, including improving basic amenities in the municipal corporation, he said.

The YSR Congress leader has also said that the ruling party leaders has deployed anti social elements to threaten the voters. Though the YSRCP had complained about this, the police had turned a Nelson's Eye, he said.
