High Court To Examine Grounds For Transferring Nayeem Case To CBI 

Hyderabad: High Court on Tuesday ordered Special Investigation Team (SIT), which is probing into over 150 criminal cases against slain gangster Nayeem, to submit a report on investigation within three weeks. The court has adjourned the hearing for three weeks.

CPI leader Narayana filed a PIL demanding CBI probe into the crime world of Nayeem, while alleging that investigation by SIT is not progressing as it should be.

In his petition, Narayana included Union Home Ministry, Telangana Home Ministry, Telangana DGP and CBI as respondents. After hearing on Tuesday, the Court said it can't order for an inquiry by CBI as of now, but will consider it after the SIT's report and counter submission.
