Casting Couch Allegations Rock Tamil Industry Again

Perambur, Tamil Nadu: A fresh scandal centering around casting couch broke out in the Tamil movie industry. A woman revealed the sordid deeds of one such man, who promised acting opportunities to aspirants and exploited them sexually. The Chennai-based woman, who preferred to be anonymous, alleged that a casting director by name Mohan reportedly lured victims promising a break in films and later forced many of them into flesh trade.

It was reported that she also accused him of filming his obscene acts and threatening his victims of posting the videos in social media platforms if they spoke about the matter. In her Facebook post, she is said to have claimed to be in possession of evidence nailing the casting director in question. She added that as of now she cannot reveal her name, but has disclosed some details about the serial harasser.
