Sri Reddy Faces Prostitution, Extortion Charges

Anchor turned actress Sri Reddy has been making headlines for her sensational comments on the casting couch in Tollywood and Kollywood. She had earlier made news by staging a semi-nude protest in front of the film chambers in Jubilee Hills in Hyderabad.

Sri Reddy first made allegations of the prevalence of casting couch in Tollywood. She named several top Tollywood stars and film makers at that time. Recently, Sri Reddy turned her focus to Kollywood and made several allegations on Karthi, AR Murugadoss and Raghava Lawerence. Sri Reddy's statements seem to have landed her in trouble.

A member of the Indian Makkal Mandra has filed a complaint on Sri Reddy which it reads " Sri Reddy has been operating in a way which causes shame, bad image not only to the indian culture, but also to the nation's womenfolk. She herself has accepted to the fact that she slept with directors and actors for roles in movies." So,Sri Reddy must be booked on charges of prostitution,trying to get money through sexual allegations, bringing black mark to the woman and society. Proper actions must be taken against her by the police," (sic). It remains to be seen how the police would react to this statement.
