Is Prabhas’s Superstition Making His Films Blockbuster Hits?

Rebel star Prabhas is arguably one of the most talented and sought after actors in Tollywood. He has carved a niche for himself in Tollywood with sheer hard work. Over the past few years, Prabhas has delivered back-to-back blockbuster hits like Mirchi, Saaho and Baahubali series. Now, all eyes are on Prabhas's next titled Saaho which is shaping up well. With the kind of hype surrounding the film, Prabhas fans are predicting that Saaho will be a bigger hit than Baahubali which set a huge record not just in India even in the overseas market.

Now, we all know that Prabhas gives his 100% to whatever he does. In all his movies, one can see the effort being put in by the actor. So hardwork pays off at the end. However, here's an interesting bit of information we stumbled upon on Facebook which has evoked interesting reactions from fans and movie buffs.

According to the buzz, there's something common to all Prabhas films that have gone on to become blockbuster hits at the box office. The logic that social media buffs are playing on is that films where Prabhas is seen covering his face have become blockbuster hits. If this superstition is indeed working then going by the picture, Saaho too will become a blockbuster hit.

Saaho is a film being made on a lavish budget. Expectations are riding high on this film, as this will be Prabhas's first film after the epic drama—Baahubali franchise.

Saaho also boasts of a stellar cast including the likes of Bollywood actors Shraddha Kapoor, Neil Nitin Mukesh and Jackie Shroff in pivotal roles. Recently, the makers wrapped up their UAE schedule of which a few pictures went viral after being leaked. The film is in the last leg of its shoot and the makers are likely to wrap up the film by end of August. Once the shooting completes, makers of Saaho will send the film for VFX graphics and it is scheduled to release by early next year. Watch this space for more updates.
