Abducted Infant Girl Found In Kamareddy

Kamareddy: After a two-day ordeal an eight-day-old infant who was abducted from government general hospital from Sangareddy was rescued by the Police in Kamareddy district.

The infant was stolen from Special Newborn Care Unit (SNCU) at Mother and Child Care Centre (MCCH) on Tuesday.Police found the baby in Sivanagar at Yellareddy mandal in Kamareddy district at the residence of Bangaru Santhosh and Sobha.

According to the police, they couple kidnapped the baby girl after their new born died in the same hospital and confessed the same. Based on the bike number which was taken from the CCTV footage near the hospital, the Sangareddy police sleuths tracked down the couple at Kamareddy. The couple were arrested and the baby was shifted to Sangareddy hospital for check up.

Sangareddy Circle Inspector Venkateshwarulu had even announced a reward of Rs 50,000 for those who give any lead in the case.
