Paramour Behind Brutal Attempt To Kill Beautician

Vijayawada: A grisly murder attempt on a Hanuman Junction based beautician which came to light on Saturday shook the locals of Taraka Rama Colony here. It may be recalled that a beautician who was involved in an extra-marital affair was brutally attacked with knives after injecting sedatives by unidentified persons.

Beautician Padma, who has been living along with her boyfriend Nutan Kumar in the city, was found in a pool of blood 36 hours after the incident occured on August 24. Padma was earlier married to Suryanarayana and they had two daughters. Due to differences with her husband, Padma got separated from her family.

However, Padma and Nutan recently got into an argument and developed diferences. On August 23, Padma informed her older daughter over the phone about her argument. Later, since Padma's phone was switched off for a long time, her daughter, along with Suryanarayana, visited Taraka Rama Nagar to see her. To their utter shock, they found Padma lying in a pool of blood, tied with ropes and brutally injured. Padma was given sedatives before her throat was slit. Her hands and other body parts by the were also cut by the culprits.

The police found several injections, syringes and other medicinal drugs in the room. Although the police suspect Nutan as the prime accused in the incident, they are waiting for Padma's statement, after she recovers consciousness. It is learnt that Nutan is currently absconding.
